Our 100% organic sourdough is up for sale in small batch production. Our starter is now reaching its 10th year of production. Go starter.
This year we bought a wooden German built stone grinding mill thanks to the people at SkippyGrainMills. Now we can freshly grind grain into flour and straight into the bread dough. To make it even more special, we have started growing some cereal grains - last year was a little bit of organic spelt and this year we will try rye. Home grown, onsite milled and all using solar power.
Loaves vary - and will be a combination of organic bakers flour, atta or wholemeal with our organic rye or bakers flour starter.
Fruit loaves are made with biodynamic semolina and bakers flour and organic raisins when they are available. They also may contain seeds and cinnamon. Non organic sultanas will be substituted if required.
A subscription to our sourdough club - Community Supported Baking - is offered in 2 formats:
